Versys 650 shifting issue - need help
Hey all, I need to pick your brains so to speak.
I own a 2008 Kawasaki Versys 650 with about 6500 miles on it. Well, 3 months ago I laid it down at about 20mph. Between getting parts and the DMV being a pain, I finally got it ready to go again today. Or so I thought.
I started the bike no issues, dropped into first gear, no issues, went back up to see if I had second, didnt shift. Seemed to stick in neutral.
So my question becomes, what did I do?
Did I damage the transmission?
Did the clutch seize (I run the bike weekly at least)?
Is my shift linkage loose or improperly assembled (I did replace this as I bent the actual peg you put your foot on)?
Or has the three months of not riding and being active army fried my brain and the bike as to be moving to shift into second?
