Anyone know or ever tried to swap out AR80 engine for a KX80 or even better KX125 motor? I am very interested in an upgrade, just curious how complicated it would be?? Would the KX125 motor and transmission fit?

 

hmm, I would rock a KDX 80 setup in that ride for sure even if it was air cooled. Have I tried it? nope. Just saying. A wider tranny ratio would prove better on the street if you could get it approved by your local laws. I really have not looked into the combination, but I am seeing a klx 450 in my near future. hint and it may prove to be less money in the long run.
