Changing front sprocket
Welcome to KF
Lefty Loosey, Righty tighty.
Do not remove the sprocket while in gear. Use the rear brake to keep tension on the geartrain. So an impact gun in one hand, and the brake pedal in the other to keep the wheel from turning. The flat washer that you bend over on the front sprocket needs to be really flat, other wise it will not let that nut move.
good luck

Excellent! I was beginning to worry. I have a friend who has a high quality impact gun, so we will try it today. I have owned many bikes over the years and never encountered such difficulty in changing the sprockets. LOL, learning all the time. Thanks again.
