Default tank pad

ok so my girlfriend told me she was getting me a tank pad for my birthday and the dealer offered to install it for 10 dollars. my first thought is thats a joke right. i thought it was just a sticker. so if there is something i have to heat up or if its just a sticker i know its a stupid question but i want to know and no no i dont have it yet. thanks

just a thick sticker - peal and stick - just be careful lining it up so its not crooked

LOL, what a bunch of crooks, if anything they should do it for free.

it is just a sticker, so good luck and do like KB said

Lots of soapy water and a good sqeegy!!!!! The soapy water lets you move it around alittle until you get it where you want it. Then sqeegy the thing out starting in the center. ( just like window tint) Its not hard but hell for $10 I'd let'em do it that way if there is the tinyest flaw they can redo it with out you having to buy anouther one. Nothing looks worse than a bad decal over a nice paint job.

the soapy water dont squeege to well with the thicker tank pads. best way is to remove a small portion of the backing, line it up, make sure its straight then remove the rest of the backing as you go up. ill install it for 5 bucks
