So I know the problem (above) but am getting schmutz from 'professional' mechanics. Lower carb bowl leak does NOT require rebuild of all four carbs like they insist, especially when its the outside one. To make a long story short, planning to undertake mission myself...does anybody have any tips? i have the original manuals, etc and found an awesome site with pic/step...pic/step paint by number type instructions but if you have any look-out-for advice I welcome it.

PS--all you kawi lovers: proud to say i got my antique motorcycle plates this year! Hooah!
