Hubby just purchased a 71 KZ 1000 and is looking for a new set of Performance plug wires. Found a set from K&N on eBay, the specs say '83 and up. Guy selling tells him they will fit the 71. I found him the original manual for the bike, but it's not clear on this item. He also has no return policy, I'm not so sure. Can anyone help, please? He fixes, I hunt down parts, it's a joint effort. Thanks, I appreciate your help.

even if you ask k &n they will tell you they havent tested the wires on that old of a bike so they cant say if they will fit or not. sorry i dont know but ive dealt with k&n on a daily basis back in the day.
