My KZ is getting new shoes!
I'm fed up with my old tires. They are worn out, and the rubber is extremely hard. If I try launching the bike hard, the rear tire just looses traction. It's time to say goodbye! I had to make a decision between Metzeler or Dunlop. I wanted to try Metzelers because of all the good things I've heard about them. But, since I was looking for a softer compound tire, I went with the Dunlop GT501's for both front and rear. It seems that the Metzelers are a hard compound made for touring bikes such as Goldwings. The other problem is tire size. You just can't find too many matching options with a 19" front wheel.

now avon makes a tire the venom but they are very expensive and i don't know what size rear you have but i have a 180 17" rear, and a 18" front. is ur kz still stock. cause you can mount a zx9 rim in the rear to make it a standard 15" and the same with the front. Also I have bought the front touring tire from metzler and a me3 rear racing tire that works very well, and soft too.
