Default 1973 Kaw KZ900 superbike

I hope this isn't a double post..to keep this one short I have a '73 Kaw KZ900 4 cyl dbl overhead cams at 21k miles in immaculate condition but parked atleast 10 yrs. Dropped the plugs under carbs and pulled jets..all were very clean. To sum it up I've went through everything and bought a new battery & air filter.Only thing left is slosh some fuel in the fuel tank and dump it and adjust the overhead cams. I would like any suggestions on anymore pre crank ideas and also intake and exhaust valve specs. Also drained the oil and it looks to be every bit of 3-4 qts..any old schoolers here who can enlighten me on anytihng i'd appreciate your advice.how many qts of oil? also back in the day Castrol ruled..I'm thinking buying a specific motorcycle oil now should be considered since companies like Castrol have went down in quality...i'd appreciate any advice in these areas..thank you
