Default Bleeding brakes on Vulcan 800 2004

After cleaning out the reservoir & replacing pads on my Kawasaki Vulcan 800B 2004. I put new fluid in & master cylinder is not pumping out anything. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas.
Let me know. Thanks.

Sounds like you probably have some air or possibly some very fine grit. Have you tried a Mighty-vac or other brake bleeder tool to help push it through? If you have a single line coming from the master (on the front) to a "T" splitter, those can be a PITA sometimes.....

Welcome to KF

Sometimes it takes a few pumps on the mc lever to force the air through the bleeder valve on the disk brake calipers. Especially since you collapsed the disk piston to place the new pads. Keep the top off of the mc, making sure it is topped off as you bleed the front brake system. and per your manual, placing a plastic tube on the bleeder and into a clear jar makes it clean and easy to see what is happening when bleeding your brakes.

bubbles indicate air being forced out to the easiest route. So I would say that no air showing is a good thing. However, that will not indicate a contaminated fluid with moisture. Moisture in the system accompanied with heat from use will make mushy braking. Same as with your suspension.
