Does anyone know of a replacement seat for a 2008 Vulcan 500 LTD? The original seat is uncomfortable after one hour of riding. I haven't found a replacement seat for the 500 but I have seen articles stating the frame is the same as a vulcan 800. Is the seat latch system the same also? I've seen gel seat covers but they don't look like they will work. Like the bike changed out the shift lever for a longer one easier to shift now and my foot dosen't get stuck. STill jumps when going into first gear when cold.

 

I haven't seen / found a replacement seat for the 500. PRobably, at this point in time, you would have to make your own. Grab a gel insert, ebay is cheapest, and carve out your foam, replace with the gel, and recover. If you don't feel comfortable doing that, you could have a upholstery shop do it. Probab cost about 50 bucks for the gel, abother 75 or so to install professionally.

 

Thinking about that also looking for a drivers seat back, still havent fund anything.
