Custom seats for tall folks?

Anyone have a seat made up for a tall fit? I'm around 6-00 but need some legroom. Rearsets available? Thanks, Jim.

so is the 500 too small for someone 6 feet tall?
i sat on one and seemed to be fine.... [sm=youreright.gif]
1000 miles on mine in the first week, the stocker aint bad but could be a little better IMHO. I may get one done with a slightly taller foam, 1-1/2 inches or so to let me move my legs and **** around a bit. I am locked into a position up against the tank and I ride on the ***** of my feet so the legs are a little tight compared to the bikes I am used to.
nice milage your first week.... wow... but that probably will be me, trying to have as much fun as possible....
so for shorter rides there isn't that much problems with it i take it.....

I am pretty sure you can get rear sets for it......but I can't remember who makes them. Try the Cycle Mart or the Speed Werks links on this site. I think it was Cycle Mart that I saw them on..
Short or long stints in the seat are OK, but I want a few more options to adjust my position after a few hours. If this is your first bike you might not even notice. A set of Speigler bars may also be in my future, had them on my ZZRs and really liked them, you can adjust them a few degrees up/down which changes the wrist angle a bit and they shorten the stretch forward putting a little more body weight on the seat, less on the wrists, not that this bike is really bad in that respect. The rearsets may be home brewed, I'd like an inch or so down and back, nothing higher. The foot controls seem designed for a smaller boot, I had to toss the kickstand into the garage as I was tapping it on downshifts. My KTM 520 EXC parked next to the 500 has a 3/4" longer distance to the shifter, that should be a good place to start. Jim.
You can probably go to Corbin or Bill Mayer Saddles, but they're not going to be able to raise you up much more than an inch. I'm 6'2" and every bike takes some getting used to. I rode mine all the way from San Diego (almost in Mexico) all the way up to Whistler, British Columbia, riding on Big Sur Highway, criss-crossing the Sierras--more than 6300 miles in 8 days.
Sure, I look like a shriner riding around in my yellow jumpsuit, but I still had a lot of fun and averaged 56.6 mpg over the whole trip:
