Default HELP.. Urgent Gas Leak

Hi Everyone,
2002 Vulcan 500 - Have a gas leak, bike wouldn't stay running thenI noticed a gas leak. I traced the leak to the air filter elemnt wher I noticed a gas oil mixture so I checked the oil level which was high so I drained the oil pan and got a gallon + 2 liters of a gassy oily liquid (approx. 7 quarts of fluid) where there should only be 3.6 quarts of oil.....HELP...any ideas on what is causing this?
