Default utopia backrests

Anyone install a utopia backrest on a vulcan nomad yet? They look like a good backrest but I was concerned as the newer nomads say the seat cover is glued to the padding and you have to seperate these to install their bracket. Thanks.

Default RE: utopia backrests

Hi coldfingers,
I just got my Utopia backrest yesterday evening. It took me about 1 hour 10 minutes uncluding running from the house to the garage about 3 times. It sounds much harder than it really is. I've had both the driver and passenger seat covers off before to install studs in them. The rear seat is only glued in the center of the seat. I pulled mine loose but I think if you are careful, you could probably leave it glued and be able to cut the slit in the foam for the bracket to go up through! Hope this helps!
Cheers,
Jim
