Yeah, I did some research before I bought and while you need to keep up with the valve checks and adjustments, it looks like the valve adjustment is pretty easy and doesn't require removing the cams, just rocker arm with screw and locking nut. It comes with a factory break-in oil that is supposed to be changed at the 3 hr run-time mark and I'm approaching that and you're supposed to do an initial valve check at that point also, so I'll be doing the oil change and valve check/adjust within a day or so, I suspect. Hopefully it goes smooth.

What are the chances that you could compair your throttle tube with one on a ZX9R? I'm trying to find an aluminum throttle tube to fit my 9R and KTM 520's look very close in pics. I don't know if your 450 is the same but do you have anyway of checking? I'm sure other people on the site would like to know also.

man i still say that bike is bitchen. and don't worry bro we still love ya, in a non broke back kinda wayof course...lol but that OEM bottle opener is the shiznit. and your old kawi still remains in the family, sweet!! enjoy[sm=icon_cheers.gif]
