There is about a bazillion Harley's out there running belts. If there is a problem with them I haven't heard anything yet. The victory dealer claims 60k on a belt. If it gets 40 Id be happy. Of course one really sharp rock could make all that null and void.

You got me wondering so I found aftermarket belts at speed supplies.com for 268 dollars. With a little research I bet gates makes one also. Hey it's only 150 dollars more than a good chain.

Thanks for the link. seen a gates 135 tooth for $135 and would possibly fit.

edit: Primary belt so maybe not. I am not up on my belt info

Hey deej you don't hafto. Victory invites you to take one for a test drive. They figure even if you don't buy one you'll like it enough to tell your friends. Linwood is the only place that let me test a Harley before I bought one. But come on over, be sure to bring the KLX to.
