Special Edition 300

Special Edition 300
I can't seem to find a 300 section. So, I would assume to go to the 250's. I may be trading in my klx250sf for the Special Edition Ninja 300 (Non-ABS) was wondering what you guys may think about it. I like the 300 just due to the fact my legs can touch more of the ground (5.6) It's not to much of a slump over body position. But, it's a whole different bike and the turning on that bike kinda scares me. So, that's why next week Im going to test drive it and see how it goes. I mean the klx250sf has enough power for me to go on the highway at 70-75 unless its a really windy day. But, I don't use it for off road... unless it's a graval road in the country. But, I know going to the 300...I have to start watching for potholes and really watch of sand and such. Which makes me not wanna get it...
But, i'd love you feedback from any of you guys who may have a 300 (or know were the 300 section is) and was a beginner.

I think that the 300 is a sexy *** ride. But for a pot ridden road, it will suck the hind tit. serious....I use my ex500 as my daily ride for a pot ridden road/ie dirt. But once on pavement, you will most likely love the ride.

I really like the Ninja 300. I've been tempted to get into a 600cc (ZX6R?), but the 300 is plenty fast enough for me in most situations, and the extra power is likely to just get me in trouble extra fast, so I'll just keep the 300.
The 300 is definitely faster than the KLX250 and is much better on the highway. I've done some 3-4 hour trips on it - it's definitely way more comfortable than the KLX250 on a long trip, but for really long trips, I take my Goldwing.
The biggest question is what drew you to the KLX250SF and what draws you to the Ninja 300? What are you looking for in a bike? If you do ride gravel roads on occasion, you're less likely to want to on the Ninja than the KLX for sure.
I had a 2011 CBR250R and a 2004 Kawasaki ZZR250 (ninja 250), and the Ninja 300 is so much better than both, power, handling, etc.
