Default Slip on for Aus klx250s

I have an 09 KLX250S and I live in NSW Australia. I really like the look of the FMF Q4 slip on exhaust however I have read that the 'Aus spec' KLX has the KLX300R header!

I'm wondering if I should be ordering a Q4 from the U.S. For the KLX250S or KLX300R? Which one will fit my head pipe/bike? Anyone have experience with this?

I really love these bikes, I am currently running lid off the air box with twinair air filter, 2206 dynojet kit on third notch down, 132 main jet, I've filled the holes in my carby slide, renthal handlebars, barkbuster hand guards and a 13T counter sprocket.

This is my trail or as most of you say woods bike that I have returned to riding off road on after a long break from riding. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Thanks Duffman

According to post #2 on this thread :Klx 250 2012 - dbw - dirtbikeworld.net Members Forums you need to order the KLX300 muffler to fit the Aussie KLX250S model.
I own a 2003 KLX250 which has a TK Pipes muffler on but I believe that the TK mufflers are no longer available.
Cheers

Thanks for the help I had read so much conflicting advice I'll have to see if I can find a Q4 for the klx300r. I want to try and keep my bike somewhat quiet. Thanks again for the link.

My understanding is if you are using both the slip on and header from the U.S. it will fit. The slip on from the U.S. Just doesn't fit our stock header. When you get it let me know how you like it I can't wait to get the Q4 for mine. Where are you purchasing from?

I hope it fits. I got the cheapest one I found on ebay. Probably could have done better but you know, convenience and that. Been trying to research suspension and that is just a nightmare. Getting a whole bunch of work done hopefully by the end of the month, so yeah, I'll let you know.
