Kawasaki 2003 KLX 300r - $300 (Meridian)



Parts Bike. Case has a hairline crack by the oil drain. This bike has less than 40 hrs on it. Everything else is in excellent condition.

 

Sounds like $300 and a tube of JB weld and you have a runner. Seems like the price should be higher or there is more wrong with it than the "hairline crack"

Could be a Craigslist scam. They fish for your email address. Then again it could be a great deal.

 

Kick start kit is $300 (can't remember if you have one). Plus it comes with a whole host of spare parts...like a complete bike! Strip it, sell what you don't want and come out ahead, or just fix it and sell it.
Spare hubs, radiators, etc.
Just buy it.
I'd take the piston and jug off your hands, maybe the top end too. Wouldn't mind a taller suspension either.

That's what I was thinking also. Too good to be true.

I used my "throwaway" email address since that was the only way to contact. The photo is just too local, and with a plate number even, that some of my hesitation went away. I'm giving it a 10% chance that I'll hear back.

I have a kick start kit, but I'm sure I could find a buyer here. I think the rear hub is the same as mine, and I'd love to have a second set with more street-oriented tires for commuting. I just paid over 1/4 that price for a rear fender and tail light lens.

I'm throwing the hitch rack in the truck and hitting the ATM to be ready for a call.

 

I emailed and no reply after 5 hours. I used my "Throw away" email also. Just seeing if I get any reply for you. I'm not interesred, too far away.
