This Garmin 2610 is the way to go IMHO. No moving parts to go bad. It's on a RAM mount which is mounted to the 1½" Tusk risers I installed. It's wired into the power on the bike. I trust this unit to bring me back out of the woods. Some of the trails down here are not on maps. I also always let my wife know about where I'll be.
