My first old school 78 kz1000 rebuild

I've taken it completely apart and had the frame powder coated. I've replaced all parts that were rusty or damaged or found a better looking part and I'm very picky. I've updated to a CDI ignition, got new/used accel coils, replaced the stator, bought a new 1 piece regulator/rectifier, even thou my originals are still good. replaced the chain with an o-ring chain, I have another body set but, I still need to paint it. I've replaced the exhaust, I'v replaced the front forks, replaced the steering bearing with incased bearing,I pretty much totaly rebuilt this awsome machine with the exception of most of the motor. I plan on boring the motor out this coming winter. I'm always looking for a nicer/ better part. I feel that I still have a long way to go but, I'm getting there. Read more »
