I have developed a horrible cold start knock on startup on my bb351. After about 5 minutes it will go away about 90%. I’ve bore scoped the cylinder and can’t see anything hitting the top of the piston. It sounds like it’s on the very top of the engine. I’m using a stethoscope to Frey and find where it’s coming from. Could a worn out guide cause a knocking sound?
