Is there a known quick fix to the 2nd gear problem with ZX6E's? I have a 94 Ninja ZX6E with 81,000 miles on the clock. It will drop out of 2nd gear semi often only immediately after shifting into 2nd gear but when it engages properly it is a smooth good running motorcycle. Most of the time I just avoid using 2nd gear when possible and skip it. Been working for a few years. I absolutely love my old ZX-6 and its my goal to see that thing to 100,000 miles so any advice his helpful.

 

Did you find the issue , i have the same issue and i’m not sure if it might be the clutch or the transmission 😅
