I ordered a Competion Werkes fender eliminator,I tried cutting the plastic with a hack saw blade and I broke down a brought me a dremel tool. After I got finished with the cutting i was more confused reading the directions so I took a 1hr brake to clear my mind and came back to it. Once you lay it out, it is simple to put it together.

Here's a couple pics of the stock unit cut up. Not as fancy as a real eliminator but it only took about 10 minutes and it was free, makes a big difference. And yes, the reflectors will be in the trash soon enough.
