whats the speed limit deej??

Everyday, 30 in the morning and 40 in the afternoon. The hill up to work was less than fun this morning. Here is a picture of where I work. Yeeeeeee Haaaaaaa!!! It climbs 400 feet in 1/4 of a mile. Freezing temps and sharp corners plus uphill, or down hill for that matter, not a good combo.[8D]

The speed limit? Well its 25 from my house to the highway, which is about a3/4 mile. Then its 45 from the highway to the turn to work which is about a half mile, then in that last 1/4 mile when its really slick out its trying to find a balance between going fast enough in order not to lose traction and sill maintain forward motion. Sometimes people make it, and sometimes the hill wins.I have always had a 4X4 since starting to work here when the place was new in 1995 and have never had a problembut I remember this one time my boss walks into my office all out of breath and asks me if I could give him a ride down to his Toyota Celica when I went to lunch because he only made it half way up the snow covered hill. Well when I headed to lunch 3 hours later I stopped by his office and grabbed him and proceeded to take him down to his car, except the car wasn't where he had parked it. It seems that while the sun hit the hard pack it made it even slipperier, causing his car to slide about 30 yards down the hill and turned its self around as if he parked it that way. He looked at me in total surprise. We laughed about it for a while and it was soon after that he bought his first 4X4. Now he's on his second and bigger 4X4. Both Dodge trucks of course.
+....+....ha. Looks like a fun road to work. Trying to get out atleast once a week before she gets put to bed for the winter. Tomarrow might be the last hoo-rah. 32 in the am and 49 in the afternoon.
Bought my new ride a week ago and have not been on it since the day I brought it home. Only has 7 miles on it and it's in my heated garage for the winter. It was 7 degrees this morning and it made it to 15 today. Sucks!!!
