Hello Everybody,

I have a question about a front wheel dent on my 05 ZZR600 and the best way to take care of it. So to get it out of the way since you'll want to know how it happened.... Idiocy. I pulled a weelie last year and came down harder than planned, in a pothole. Like I said, idiocy. But anyways, the rim is dented. Not creased at all, but just a tiny dent. It doesn't cause any wobbling or change the way it handles at all, but the tire looks like it's pulling off a bit and I don't want to take a chance on having a blowout.

So here's my q.... since it's not creased and it's so slight I think it could be fixed. Maybe pounded out by someone who knows what they are doing. What do you guys think? New rims are about 4-500 bucks, so any way that I can save some $ sounds good to me.

If you don't think that it could be fixed, could you suggest ideas on finding a used wheel. I've done the web searches and ebay, but thinkgs look pretty slim. I appreciate any help you can gve me. Thanks!

Not sure about the pounding out fix-it idea I'm kinda a wussy when it comes to something like that and it's always better safe than sorry for me and my two wheels. but as a last resort if you have to find a used wheel they're all over. Start searching for 2000-2002 zx-6r and you should be able to get the EXACT same wheel. that should help out your seach a ton.
