I see that fairing set on ebay all the time and wonder too how good the material is. Can you buy it and let me know?
I was seriously thinking about it! But, I'm going to keep it the way it is from the factory. The seller does have a good rating, and it says they are made from plastic. I don't think they would be too bad, if they really are plastic they should flex a little like the factory fairings.

cold tires don't have as muhc grip as warm tires - the colder they are the harder the rubber is. so when they are cold take it easy, not too much gas, no sudden braking, and stay more upright in the turns.

+1. You have to be real careful when your tires are cold.

Riding in the rain blows! I had to ride home in a complete down pour a few months back. It was the longest six miles I've ever riden!

I wasn't able to get pictures of the damage. I brought the bike to the shop the other day after work.
Was in a hurry (they close at 6). Did get the estimate yestarday though, a little over $1,500.
The factory header got dented a little from hitting the swing arm, so may get a full Yoshi system. Instead of having just the bolt on muffler by it's self. May have flush mounts put on too.
