Default Hard starting ZRX

I'm a noob to the zrx and have tried to get this thing to start for two days now and have had no luck,it's around 35deg outside and it cranks just fine but will not catch. It has sat for a week .any suggestions,I even gave it a shot of starting fluid as a last resort and still no luck.[&o] I don't have an owners manual to give me general starting procedures.

Catch mean firing? Pull a plug and check the condition.

Sure you got spark? Pull the plug, lean it against the head and crank it over to see if there's any spark at the gap.

It ran fine last week and trying to start it yesterday and today I may get a little pop here and there but no fire.I called the guy I bought it from and he suggested pointing a salamander heater towards it for a few minutes to warm things.I got out of him thats what he did when he knew I was coming up.

Don't give it any gas when cranking. Pull choke all the way open and hit the starter. If you've been cranking the throttle while starting, you've flooded it. .

nope never hit the throttle until all other things failed,I even drained each carb and put it to prime for about 30 second or so to refresh the gas.I then tried unsuccesfully again and open one carb to make sure fuel was there. What next, drain each carb again and pull the plugs and replace them. I know every bike has it's own quirk for starting and just have to learn this one.

At this point, I would pull the plugs. Sounds to me like they are fouled. Some how it's got flooded in my mind.

The REX is not a contankerous bike. At least mine aren't. I've started mine in low 40's with no problem. Open choke, hit the starter, warm up for about 30 seconds, and go.
