I know there arent many z owners on this site however I thought I'd test the waters anyway.

I'm looking to do what blueblast did and trade an 06zx636 blue plasma for pretty much any year z1000 or z750. In older years I'm in need of a more upright riding style. Bank any senior members here I take care of my bikes so I'd like yours to be as loved as mine has.

I can understand the Z models. A co worker of mine road in on his ZR-7S today. A beauty of a naked ride. Love the 1000's as well and will most likely go that route since they are still being made. I personally would not trade in your 06 6r and would keep it for just those times. (track times)

i agree with you dragone however my clesest road race track is 13 hours and closest drag strip is 3 hours, so soemthing that is comfortable in the twisties aswell as getting there is the ultamate goal

sup_uni check out z1000 forums. I joined over there and i've seen a few guys selling there bikes on there if you want an older z. I got a left over 2011 around my place for $8800 out the door. I love the z it's really comfortable compared to the zx6r.
