the video is on a mid 90's cam corder, im being told i can not get the tape put on my computer. how would i go about doing this ?

welcome to my world, crap says it loaded, everything seems cool, and it dont show up..beats me but it took forever to get my advie working.
on the video, im working on getting the adapter cassette thing that was used to play the camcorder tape in a vcr. if i find that or a bucket *** camcorder i can plug into my tv, i might just throw a bbq and everyone can come over, eat talk bike and watch some old speed footage and crappy track films.
