Default Another cheap & cool option to changing the color of your bike...

I don't know if anyone has ever heard of this stuff before or used it, but it's called Plastidip. Over on a car forum that I am on people use this stuff in allllll kinds of different applications - coating tool handles for extra grip, using it to "paint" an entire car, giving a powder coat look to car rims, etc.

Check out the site: Fonzie's 2011 Audi S4 (everything) - Plasti Dip For Your Car - Resources & More at DipYourCar.com NEW Glossifier

I've heard if it. Even have a can at home. Tried it to paint my tacoma decals black. Great so far. Haven't tried it on my bike thought. It will just peel off easy. Maybe if you don't ride on trails, maybe it will work. Even if you don't drop your bike onthe trails, rocks, bushes, twigs will just cause mayhem on the paintjob.

yea i have used it to paint the grille of my truck and it has held up awesome for that but i think that for something that would be out in the woods the paint would start to peel fairly fast

Yeah I did my Legacy GT grill since the plasti-chrome was a little tacky looking.

But yeah, I think it would last about 30 mins on a woods ride before the bike looked like crap.
