Genki's entrace is as fun to watch as his fights. He is a true showman and one of my favorites.I also like Randy.I studied JKD for a short wile and saw it to be an unbelievably powerfull martial art.But this is no superise coming from Bruce.I studied Jujitsu while I was in the Marine Corps and have also studied Tai Kwon Do.So i personlly appreciate your post.

Well ,there's always someone badder and I've not seen anyone kick ole smith and wesson's but yet, lol.I just wanted to focus my energy on something more rewarding while I had free time (libo) in the Corps bro.I personly don't like to fight I just want to be able to protect my family and myself. But yeah your my bro Kaw.
And Steve I stayed in Thailand for about three months and saw some brutal action.I never trained but I wish I had. Those guys actually kick trees with there chins. They have a very good pain threshold and are devastating with there technique. The fights almost always end with someone bleeding profusely. It would be something good to learn for close courters striking.

yea, as far as i'm concerned bjj would take out any other martial art..........it's all about avoiding the heavy punch and getting the guy to the ground, when you do that, it's all but over, you have the choice of choking teh guy out, separating something, or ground and pound. stand up you never know any guy can land a lucky punch, but if you're not trained in wrestling/bjj theres no way to stuff a takedown of a guy that knows what he's doing, thats the main reason i'm starting with jiu jitsu. i don't like to start fights, but it's nice knowing you know what you're doing if it comes to that.

No doubt bro.I personly like jiu jitsu(ck spelling, lol) and your right it is extremely hard to defend against once the fight goes to the ground. But I took JKD for multiple apponent encounters. If your fighting more than one guy you want to dispatch them quickly,in that instance the ground can hurt you.But if it's mono e mono than I prefer ground and pound or submission.
