Helicopter :)
Riding today I saw this. The US Marshalls have an Urban Village / training area inside the old abandoned Army camp where we ride. Well today they were playing "Hero" or something because this helcopter came in hot, they zoomed up in a convoy of black Suburbans, a VIP escorted by a squad of badass lookin' dudes boarded the chopper, and they took off fast. I happened to be riding down A-Street (runs paralell to the urban village) and I saw the helicopter so I slow-rolled a few times, then figured, what the hell, I'll stop and take photos. What are they gonna do, yell at me?
Anyways, he took off so fast I only managed a few pics. He went up, took off, looped around and buzzed the village at about 200 feet. It was wicked. I couldn't have been more than 50 yards from them. That thing was loud. I've been around helicopters before but I think that's the closest I've ever been.

That looks like a HM51... my brother worked with those in Pensacola for a while, then Norfolk, and now he's on an air force base (being int he Navy... I dunno why) in California. I think on the side of those beasties they have 'vanguard' on them or something... it's been a while since I visited Tom.
