You can tell that the guy on the bike that passed him, was hauling azz. Dude was trying to keep up with him and git dusted, but in the interim, instead of slowing he kept trying to catch up to the guy and tookout an innocent biker. Can youspell L-a-w-s-u-i-t?

Just got back from a nice leisurely ride around the back roads. I was going maybe 60-65 and this kid comes roaring by me on a late model Kaw (636/ZX10?) as we're about 200 yards from a curve. He was easily doing about 90-95. I immediately thought of the infamous crash video, and shook my head. It's about a 120 degree curve that drops off to the right, blind. Admittedly, I've taken it pretty quick previously, and gone fromcenter yellow stripe to side white stripe (apex) to yellow center, but never passing another biker in the approach. I know this road very well. This is not the road to displaypoor judgement. (Or, what I call the "Oh yeah!!?" factor.)
Fortunately, when I got through the curves, no carnage was waiting for me. No sign of the squid, though; nowhere to be seen for the next half mile.
I guess I'm thankful I've seen that video. Thanks for the link.

What irritates the hell out of me is that the other guy was not being an azzhole, was just minding his own business, and got hit out of nowhere! It's people like the camera guy that give sport bike riders a bad name. I don't even own a sportbike, but I feel for you guys because of the way you are viewed, based on the idiotic few that can't resist the temptation to roll on the throttle when they have no business doing so. I'm getting a ZX6R soon, and when I do, people like that moron camera man will be giving me a bad name as well!
