I must be getting old, I purchased a 2003 vulcan 1600 classic with fuel injection a couple of years ago and when I purchasedit, it had an aftermarket air intake on it with vance hines pipes & power comander,
this summer I put on a taller than stock windshield and now there is virtually no wind noise rushing past my ears at highway speeds and all I hear is the exhaust, after a couple of hundred miles the sound gets to be a bit much, so i found and purchased a stock exhaust and put it back on and I do appreciate the quiet at higway speeds on extended rides, so I was thinking of locating a stock intake system and putting that on, so my offfer is if you are looking to purchase vance hines long shots I will sell mine at a fair discount if you would give me your stock intake system in the deal. I live in northeast wisconsin near appleton, pipes could be shipped for actual cost.
