This is the prototype exhaust I used for fitment and road testing, so the muffler section and clamp are used while the midpipe, exhaust gasket, end cap, and tuning disks are new.
At only 3 pounds 4 ounces, it is the smallest lightest most compact slip on exhaust there is. When it's on the bike you can hardly see it. For comparison, the stock muffler is 8 pounds 12 ounces of dead weight.
Using the disks, it is infinitely tuneable from mild mellow street riding to insanely
L O U D full-on competition open pipe.
Because the exhaust exits the muffler radially through small slots between the disks, it is a spark arrestor for safe legal off road riding.
This exhaust fits the stock headpipe for all KLX 250/300 models from 2009-2021. The midpipe includes a bung for the stock O2 sensor on FI models, so nothing needs to be bypassed or disabled.
