Last of the big bore two strokes, KX 500's were better than all the rest. 1985 was the beginning of the end when Suzuki was the first to stop producing 500 two stroke MX'ers, then Maico (M-Star), then Yamaha, then Husqvarna-Cagiva, then KTM, then Honda, and finally, Kawasaki in 2004. The end of an era, it's a true future collectible bike now.
