I know, I know, it's not a Kawi! It's a good deal though, so I thought I'd pass it on.

My Father-In-Law is selling a 2006 Harley Sportster 1200 with only 50 original miles on it. I can attest to the fact that this is a very nice bike. If it were mine, I'd change out all the fluids, air up the tires (a bit low from sitting), and ride the snot out of it.

This bike is not junk. I thought about buying it myself, but passed on it as I'm building a streetrod right now and thats eating up my cashflow.

why so less miles?

 

The original owner rode it home from the dealership and then got visited by the IRS (in a bad way) almost right away. My father in law bought it from the IRS sale and rode it to the office and parked it in the warehouse while he took 6 months vacation in Florida. Since he got back he's been too busy for it (plus, he's too big for it), so he finally decided to sell. It was virtually a new bike, even though it's 4 years old.

The young lady that bought it is sick of riding on the back of her husbands Screaming Eagle, so now she's got her own set of wheels.
