I've got a complete engine from a 2006 KLX250. The engine was run low on oil by the previous owner and the cams froze up. To the best of my knowledge this engine has about 21k miles on it. I disassembled the top end and found the cam journals and the cams and valves to be damaged. The cylinder and piston both appear to be in fine shape. I took the engine to a shop and was told the bottom end is fine. I drained the oil and inspected the oil screen and did not find any metal particles. All appears to be fine in the bottom end. This does have the stator removed though includes all other engine components. I'm happy to box it up and ship at buyers expense. Located in Oregon. Asking $600.
