took the 250 out for the first medium sized ride today it was great untill the ride home. it was so cold that the bikes temp gage never got into the normal zone ti was so cold that my socks where frezing to my toes. i hade to tape up all the vents and tape the visor closed any body elts ride when its that cold

 

I'll ride when it's down in the 20's F. I just received my new Gerbing's G3 heated gloves yesterday, as well as my heated hand grips today. The hands are my only trouble areas when riding in the cold. My feet get somewhat cold after a long ride, but not ever to the point of going numb like my hands do. I'll be looking forward to testing out all of my heated equipment tonight once I get home. I should be in the low 30's by then. YAY! lol

 

That is pretty cold.
Anything above 30 degrees and I am good to ride. (for a short ride that is)

 

I had that problem once, it would want to die at stoplights with my idle controller all the way up. Sooooooo cold, but theres something very refreshing about riding in cold weather and getting all bundled up.

 

let me know how the heated gloves work where are you going to mount the swich for the grips

The colderst I rode in was like mid 30's. I hated it.
