Well that's a HUGE misconception in the nutrition and diet industry. Contrary to popular belief and even heal care know it all's, you do not get fat eating fatty foods, in fact the opposite is true. Take for example my mom, she eats everything fat free, has been for 15 years, and has not lost any weight. Plus she's always tired. Fat free = sugar added back in to put the taste back in and thus people get fat from white sugar and bleached flour.

Since starting this diet again I have so much energy its unbelievable! Think about the pioneers back in the day, what did they eat? Meat, eggs, butter, cream, cheese, and until white sugar was introduced along with sugar beverages specifically soft drinks, there were hardly any obese people. 20 years after the introduction of Coke and Pepsi the number of obese people quadrupled nearly every year. So anyway, getting off soapbox now. LOL

Right on, Deej. I hate it when my spouse brings home reduced fat items from the grocery store. I end up going back and buying the stuff I want; I don't CARE if it has fat in it, that's why it tastes good. It's the same thing with the "plastic" butter versus
REAL butter. I want honest-to-goodness BUTTER, (and CREAM in my coffee! Somehow, 2% milk just doesn't do it.) I actually eat less when I have real food.
