I have an '07 ZZR600, a few weeks ago I had it up to a speedo-indicated 160, 2k left, was still pulling.
I've chilled out a bit since. A couple of weeks ago I got a ticket for 56 in a 35. So I called the office to see how much it costs. Well, if any of you ever make it to Georgia, look out, it's $354.90! So, don't get cought speeding in Georgia![X(]

No sir, I pulled right over. In Georgia, the individual counties set the fines. They can do what ever they want from what I've heard. The state has no say in it. That's how I remember it if I understood it right.
168 according to the speedo, 93 ZX7 still had over a grand to redline, but wouldn't wind any higher.
After a 10 year hiatus - one of the first runs I was on my buddy's 05 gixxer 600 on I took it to 144 according to the digital speedo
About 2 weeks after I got the 98 ZX9 this past Oct, I was on some back-country roads in southwest Wisconsin and took it to 150 on the speedo. This one spooked me - cause it was still pulling and HARD when I got off at that point. This was also the same day I had my stomach turned inside out for the first time due 0-? acceleration in first gear, wide open on that bike. That was just beautiful.
I had ridden 600 miles that day.
