i got the 500R.... and so far only got it to about 100mph (have only puta little over 1K miles on the street so far so no crazy **** yet) and I think from reading they top out at about 130 or so, so not that far off anyways....

Yea, I found it after searching for less than 5 minutes, makes you wonder about some people. I am pretty sure it was dumbed down a bit because it was taken by an aircraft and the times between markers were taken by a stopwatch. The margin of error was pretty big, but I am not sure what it turned out to be. Either way, fast.

 

All that and only a $115 dollar fine. Wow. There was another time when I was dumb and young. when I did 132 on my friends CBR 600 with no helmet. Yeah now I am just dumb.

Well I guess I'm just the opposite, 55 is too fast for me. I just want to end each day with all my vital organs where they are supposed to be. Of course my bike wasn't really meant to even get close to the 100 mark. If I'm on a back road and the speed limit is 55, I usually do 40, I mean I'm in no hurry, unless I'm on my way to a really good trail, then I might bump it up to 45
