R1 hit 155 on the freeway with Speedo Healer set on the dyno. Had a lot more but that was fast enough for me. Not sure about the speed on the track but have seen almost 12k on my ZX7 on the front straight at Ca Speedway and it felt fast.

 

Topped my 06 636 out at 174 indicated so take off the 10% or what not. No euro mod or it may have gone faster than that. Didn't know about the Euro mod at the time and now that I do I don't really plan on doing it again. One of those one time deals. I work at 4AM so the freeway is a wide open at that time. Like I said though did it once for kicks now I do 75 tops on the way to work. Besides... It's bloody cold.

135 on my 1994 CBR 600 on a new flat country road...and since the fastest I have gone on the kawi is 30 in town, I don't know what I am expecting on this thing...

 

Mine was on a toll road on the way home from work. Didn't want to be the tallest thing out there where the land was flat and lightening was on it's way in. Scary thing is some guy was in a different part of town riding home on his bike and got struct and killed that same day.

A rush with 185? Most rides are so smooth at those speeds it feels like cruising. The rush happens when a coyote or other animal decides to cross the road while you are doing those speeds. Or is that called the "Pucker Factor" ?

I was on a ride from Chico to Quincy, and a dog ran out into the road on a straight, came inches from my boot... scared the crap out of me!

 

Speaking of animals, who was it that posted that video a while back of some guy cutting right through a deer on his bike?! That was a sweet vid.
