i would go back to when i was in highschool and explain the next few years of my other self's future to me so that i would make better decisions, get a little less drunkand enjoy the women a little more. Then I would go back and buy major shares of microsoft and yahoo and bell atlantic (now verizon) and deed it to myself.
those two events would likely change my future so much my time traveling self would cease to exist and i'd wake up a millionare married to jessica alba [8D]

I would go back and bedubya's college roomate, but everytime someone walked in the room I would jump forward to after he explained that he was talking to his time traveling invisible roomate to the people in the white coats.

I would write down the winning numbers for the last 240+ mega-million drawing before there was an actual winner. As nobody would have won it - it would be ALL MINE. And I would buy you all new ZX10's
