Default What a great end to an awesome weekend!

So I thought I would share the day's activities with you guys. I thought that to be able to ride on Friday and Saturday was so much in itself, but then today my family and a friend of mine went to a lake about 10 miles from town that I haven't been to in like 30+ years to see if there were any fish to catch.

This is a lake that is stocked by the State fish hatchery after the local fishing derby. It was rumored that 3000 fish including 200 five lbs and bigger were dumped in just a few weeks ago.

On the way out I spotted an eagle, not the best picture but still cool to see.

There were a few other boats out there but we managed to not bump into each other.

Then it happened......my pole went down and I grabbed it and managed to get this to the boat, it was 5 lbs and 23 inches long. Its a good sized Steelhead. Christian grabbed the net and it was all and the shouting.

Yours truly

Nice catch, Deej. And you cooked him, too. Finger Mullet would be proud.
