One version is Kawi is Sanskrit for "poet" plus my name Kathy or the other version is I like to ride my Kawi, it brings out the creative side of me - that's stretching it a bit I know!

Mine came about like 20 years ago, all my friends (yes I have many) started calling me deej. I think its a combination of my first and middle name, de (deric) j (jerome) deej!! At least that's what I think it is. Oh and its not dee-jay,...its deej short j, wow I think I really confused things there.
