I found a 429ci for my ranger to maybe replace the "302ci junk yard engine swap", ya got any pics of your '66 tbird? I too am looking for those engines to replace in the wifes '76 hi-boy. The '66 LTD still has the original 390 in the beast. (was my daily driver)

No digital pics to post up. Aqua-marine metal-flake dark green original paint, landau, black leather interior, AM & FM! But here's the story. End of my senior HS year, 1985, small wad of cash, in UT looking for a little 4x4 PU, maybe a Toy, and see this 66Bird on the lot. Wow. This isn't what I'm looking for, but it's going home with me. PO was first owner, purchased three days before Christmas 1965. Traded it in for a new bird almost 20 years later. I called him and we talked at length about it. She went home with me soon after. We did many miles together. Knocked down many a camaro as long a I had more than a stop light length. Put a rod out the pan with a buried speedo and have carried her along for many years with no money to rebuild. Now it's time.

If I'm not footing the bill , I'd love a new ZX14R or ZX10R. But the real treat would be a 1996 ZX7RR under the tree. I need () one of those to finish my 7R & 7RR collection.
