i was considering the new ls9.. the supercharged version of that

original:http://www.corvettemuseum.com/specs/2009zr1/index.shtml
The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 in the forthcoming Chevy Corvette ZR1 cranks out 638 horsepower, 604 ft-lb torque. Top speed 205 mph.

but i cant imagine that being cheap

It is funny how all of your chit breaks. Am I the only one starting to see a pattern of stuff breaking with only one thing in common?

that was after several hundred in work...

new topend, new piston, new rings, new wires and plugs...

and after weeks of work i put it together and the gearbox caved and seized together.

i had no choice

however, i did clean it off and made $750 parting it out...

hey, stfu

my yards barely full... its like 20%... max

and the caddy's going on the road next week... everything else runs

and, i was just at the shop, he said he would charge roughly $1500-$2000 to do the swap and he can get a discount on an engine cus hes a shop or sumthin... i think im just gonna throw another lt1 in it, most likely a rebuilt one. he gave me a # to the place that he buys his from.. cheap and good stuff, but im still not gonna do anything to it til the end of winter. like i said, its useless in the snow, i dont want the obnoxisous amounts of salt used here to eat the undercarrige and im short on cash to boot. so its now in my yard (i know, i know... stfu) im gonna take the wheels off tomorrow and put it on blocks, wrap up the rotors so they dont rust over and throw the "new" engine in come spring.
