Default Week of 6-15-09 Random Pictures

Ok About an hour ago, I jumped in the work truck to run to the store and half way down the hill the truck started lurching and running real rough. Missing and a huge cloud of smoke out the tailpipe....then I could smell something electrical. Like the alternator was burning up or something.

So I called the tow truck, and right when they showed up, my boss came by and as I was talking to him, a couple of young gals walked by, and of course you all know me, I never let a photo opportunity pass me by. After the truck left for the shop, my boss said well lets see the pictures. So here you go,

Truck (93 Chev) the car behind me was some twilight fans taking pictures of the Forks sign

And yes I realize that I am old enough to be their dad, but what are you gonna do right?

So my boss gave me a ride up the hill so I could get a different truck, and 10 minutes later I was down town, and look what I came across again. I think it was fate. LOL

Insert dirty old man jokes here.

Update, the computer in the truck got fried because a fuel injector grounded out. So with the computer, injector and the prom, the parts could be a grand not to mention the labor. I'm glad its not my dime.

Wow! A couple more random pics. I stopped at the parts store yesterday, trying to figure a way for my tail lights to not burn out, or break or whatever is happening. Its not a short, its just that with all the trail riding that I do, the tail light seems to constantly not be working, Either the brake or the running circuit or both stop working. So I picked up some heavy duty, or LL (long Life) 1157 bulbs. Also the aftermarket tail light, is not a socket like the typical kind, its a sleeve with open prongs. I also picked up some dialectric grease to see if that would keep things better connected.
