the longest i've done was a 16 hour ride. It was in the 80's but still you gota admit 16 hours is a long time to spend on a stock zx6 seat.

i was rainin in northern ohio for the DSM shootout i was pissed it did suck then it rained my first day back to cincy i was like damn and sun gonna come back

 

get this crap, its raining bad, thunder storms and its 95 degrees and hunid as hell here in nc [:'(]

 

I'm in Fl, and I think the coldest I've ridden in was in the 40s... I turn into a whining, sissy at 60.

 

i think that this year i will need snow tires and heated bootys and gloves

 

Anything between 50 and 75 I'm good. Anything below 45 or above 80-85 sucks, although I've done both. I positively detest turning into a sweaty mess when I ride. If anything, I'll ride in colder weather (except when the threat of salt, ice, or grit is on the roads.) At least I'll have on plenty of padding if I dump it. Rain? It's not so bad. I kinda like getting the pitiful looks from the cagers. Makes you a better rider, but the wet leathers are a bitch.
I remember being at Daytona in '91, riding along (what is that, I-90?) after being in the blazing sun all day.I was burnt; had on a tank top and jeans (helmet, too.) There was a cold-as-hell squall that blew in and just pelted my friend and I. Couldn't see 50 feetahead; I was just hanging on and cursing. Passing tractor-trailers was like getting hit with a 40 degree water cannon. Finally pulled under an overpass. My hands were so cold and shaking, I couldn't light a cigarette. (I was so cold I could barely talk coherently.)Didn't see "*****" for about 3 days....
